Development of technical and administrative documentation in English of the project “LIFE-IP RBMP-DUERO, IMPLEMENTATION OF RIVER DUERO BASIN MANAGEMENT PLAN IN THE CENTRAL-SOUTH PART OF RIVER DUERO BASIN", for the call for LIFE Integrated Projects 2016.

In 2015, the CHD presented an Integrated Project proposal with the objective to fully develop the PHC in the Adaja, Zapardiel and Trabancos river basins as a pilot experience, this project being an instrument to put into practice innovative, sustainable, participatory solutions, etc. exportable to the rest of the basin, as advocated by the EU.

This proposal was not selected among those chosen, therefore, as a result of the new call for the LIFE IPE15 program, the CHD presented its proposal again, reducing the scope of action to the basins of the Zapardiel, Trabancos and Arevalillo rivers, and to the territory delimited by the Medina del Campo groundwater body.

Neither on this occasion, despite substantially improving the obtained overall score, was the proposal selected for funding, mainly due to the existence of another Spanish proposal that was finally one of the chosen ones. However, in their evaluation brief, those in charge highlighted the quality of the submitted proposal, encouraging the beneficiaries to present the project for the 2016 call.

For this reason, the project summary for the LIFE16 IPE call was submitted again, improving those aspects that obtained the lowest score in order to develop a proposal that was finally eligible to be financed through the LIFE program.
