INDEPRO and PWACS to draft Flood Action Plans in Vegas Altas and La Serena

INDEPRO Consultores de Ingeniería, in a Joint Venture (UTE) with PW Advisory & Capital Services (PWACS), has been awarded the contract for the drafting of the Municipal Action Plan against Flood Risk.

The project, promoted by Aquanex, covers the municipalities of the Vegas Altas-La Serena Consortium, the Vegas Altas Community, and Villanueva de la Serena.

PROJECT SUMMARY

To establish an organizational structure and action procedures in case of emergency, by cataloguing vulnerable elements and zoning the territory based on risk. The project delimits areas according to potential intervention requirements, specifying alert information procedures for the population, coordination with Civil Protection, and cataloguing the specific means and resources for the implementation of planned activities across the member municipalities of the Vegas Altas-La Serena Consortium, the municipality of Villanueva de la Serena, and the member municipalities of the Vegas Altas Community.
