DRAIN2WC
Sustainable device for the reuse of gray water for use in toilets (DRAIN2WC).
INDEPRO’s R&D Department has just launched its first project, DRAIN2WC, for the development of a gray water reuse device for use in toilets, with the aim of saving around 40% of water.
This is a project financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), with the aim of promoting research, technological development and innovation.

Target
The general goal of the project is to develop a sustainable and innovative device for reuse of gray water that can be massively installed in domestic homes and other buildings, in a way that allows a significant saving of water consumption.
For the project result to be considered a success, it is essential that the device:
- should have minimal sizes and be easily installed in the bathroom of any home.
- should be of an affordable price and should require minimal maintenance.
Only by complying with these conditions can the massive introduction of this device be promoted,achieving significant water savings worldwide.
