INDEPRO shares its experience in flood risk management with IDIGER Bogotá
INDEPRO shares its experience in flood risk management with IDIGER Bogotá, addressing preventive planning, early warning systems and institutional coordination.

On 3 March, Julián Navas Herranz, Technical Director of INDEPRO Consultores de Ingeniería S.L., took part in a technical webinar together with members of the company’s technical team. The webinar was organised by the District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change of Bogotá (IDIGER), Colombia.
During the session, several aspects of flood risk management were discussed. INDEPRO also shared its experience in developing Municipal Flood Risk Action Plans (PAMRI) in different municipalities in Spain.
In addition, the participants discussed preventive planning, warning protocols and institutional coordination. These elements are essential for improving response capacity during extreme hydrometeorological events.
IDIGER became familiar with INDEPRO during the trade mission held last year. As a result, new opportunities for technical exchange and collaboration were created. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening risk management and urban resilience.
