II International Congress on Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation – Peru 2025
INDEPRO had the honor of attending the II International Congress on Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation (GIRD-ACC 2025), held from November 6th to 8th at the ESAN University in Lima, Peru.
The event, organized by the RiesGIRD-ACC/Peru Network, ESAN University, and the College of Engineers of Peru, brought together representatives from universities, public bodies, technical entities, and specialized companies in disaster risk management and climate change adaptation. The goal was to promote academic cooperation, applied research, and the exchange of international experiences.
During the sessions, key topics were addressed, such as university governance in risk management, global strategies against climate change, the importance of resilient territorial planning, and institutional collaboration to reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen resilience against extreme events.
