Restoration Works for Zapardiel River
Redaction of the Project for the Restoration Works of the Zapardiel River within the framework of the Integrated Project LIFE16 IPE/ES/019
The Hydrographical Confederation of the Duero, has been awarded with the Integrated Project of the LIFE Program (LIFE16 IPE/ES/019) which has the objective of the integrated development of the Hydrological Basin Plan in the southern area of the Duero in the territory delimited by the basins of the rivers Arevalillo, Zapardiel and Trabancos, and the groundwater body of Medina del Campo. In the project submitted to the European Commission, the restoration of the Zapardiel river is foreseen in order to improve the status of the water bodies.

Object of the Contract:
In the project submitted to the European Commission, it is planned to carry out river restoration actions to improve the status of surface water masses. In this action, with the project drafted by INDEPRO Consultores de Ingeniería named “Drafting of the Restoration Works Project of the Zapardiel River in the framework of the Integrated Project LIFE16 IPE/ES/019″, the restoration of the Zapardiel River from the municipality of Mamblas in the province of Avila to the mouth of the Duero River in the municipality of Tordesillas in Valladolid.
