INDEPRO Consolidates its Position in Peru and Colombia Following Successful International Trade Mission

Indepro Consultores de Ingeniería S.L. successfully concluded its participation in the Direct Trade Mission to Peru and Colombia, held from November 10th to 15th, 2025. This initiative took place within the framework of the SME International Expansion Program of the Community of Castile and León, supported by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICECYL) and the V Business Internationalization Plan of Castile and León 2022–2025, extended until 2027.

During this mission, Indepro held high-level strategic meetings with key entities in risk management and territorial planning in both countries. In Peru, meetings were held with the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (SENAMHI) and the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI). In Colombia, the meetings included the District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change (IDIGER), the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD), and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).

Objectives and results of the Trade Mission Peru Colombia

The main objective of these encounters was to establish technical and institutional alliances for the adoption and application of hydrological and hydraulic models developed by Indepro. These models are adapted to the regulatory and operational frameworks of each country, serving as key tools within national and local strategies for:

  • Flood risk management
  • Predictive hydrological and hydraulic studies and modeling

The meetings allowed for the identification of concrete collaboration opportunities in projects aimed at the prevention, anticipation, and reduction of impacts associated with extreme hydrometeorological events, as well as strengthening planning and decision-making systems based on advanced modeling and rigorous technical analysis.

International Projection

The positive reception of Indepro’s technical capabilities and the interest shown by participating institutions reinforce the company’s international positioning in Latin America. This consolidates its role as a specialized technical partner in hydraulic engineering, risk management, and sustainable solutions for territories exposed to flooding.

This Trade Mission Peru Colombia represents a decisive step in Indepro’s internationalization strategy, opening the door to the development of joint projects and the transfer of knowledge in contexts of high hydrological and climate complexity.
