INDEPRO at the 5th RestauraRíos Congress 2026 in Soria
Recently, our director, Julián Navas Herranz, had the opportunity to participate in the 5th Iberian RestauraRíos Congress 2026, held in Soria. This event, consolidated as a benchmark in the sector, brought together experts to analyze the challenges of river restoration in the context of global change and new European regulations.
During the event, we presented TARANIS, our advanced solution for flood prediction. The presentation had a great reception among attendees, highlighting the special interest shown by the river basin authorities (confederaciones hidrográficas). At the congress, we showed how this tool, together with river restoration and nature-based solutions, is vital for climate resilience.
Attendance reinforces our commitment at INDEPRO. We aim to be at the forefront of this field. We exchanged visions with top-level professionals regarding ecosystem resilience. Therefore, we can continue developing technical projects that integrate sustainability. Additionally, efficient land management is fundamental to our work.
Looking towards 2030: The future of river restoration and management
During the sessions, emphasis was placed on the importance of looking towards 2030, integrating citizen participation and technology to protect our river arteries.
