Revitalization of rural areas through entrepreneurship and diversification of products or services provided
The RuralBoost Rural Impulse Project brings together various entities from Spain, Portugal, and France. This consortium within the SUDOE space includes universities, public authorities, and civil society organizations. Furthermore, it counts on the participation of innovative SMEs such as Indepro Consultores de Ingeniería.
The main objective of this initiative is the revitalization of rural areas. Therefore, it seeks to promote entrepreneurship and the diversification of services provided in these locations.
Challenges of the RuralBoost Rural Impulse Project
RuralBoost aims to respond to common demographic and territorial challenges. In particular, the project addresses the need for social cohesion and the fight against rural depopulation.
The participating partners include:
- Portugal: COFAC/ULusófona, Corane, and AGAVI.
- Spain: Municipality of El Hoyo de Pinares, Bétera, CEEI Burgos, and Indepro.
- France: Accent Sud and Activhandi.
In conclusion, this rural development program brings the university closer to the company to promote competitiveness in rural environments.
