More than 600 students will participate this year in the LIFE IP-Duero environmental education program.

LIFE IP-Duero education is the environmental program in which the CHD has invested more than 3.6 million euros for river restoration and school training.

This initiative, led by the Duero Hydrographic Confederation (CHD), will reach more than 600 students in Ávila, Salamanca, and Valladolid this academic year. Furthermore, the goal is to raise awareness about climate change impacts on water resources.

Impact of the LIFE IP-Duero education

The program includes talks to reflect on our lifestyle and sustainable development. In particular, the activity is complemented by the “Climate Change and Water” exhibition for secondary school students.
