Description of the Works:
The purpose of the project is to improve the natural fluvial regime and the environment of the riverbeds located in sensitive areas in Terra Chá, Vilalba, Monforte de Lemos and Lugo, that currently have poor drainage capacity as a result of the accumulation of fallen and decrepit trees, low branches, etc., which cause areas of barriers and plant dams, interfering with the flow of water and causing plant and anthropogenic drags. The planned actions are:
• Defense, protection and consolidation of riverbanks to prevent erosion caused by floods.
• Removing obstacles, improving the section of the riverbed.
• Cleanup of the riverbed and its surroundings.
